National Academic Depository (NAD) cell of Madurai Kamaraj University was entrusted with a task of digitizing and lodged of all certificates issued by MKU. NAD is a Govt. of India initiative for which UGC is nodal agency. All the lodged certificates are safely kept, ready to be downloaded and could be verified / authenticated anywhere any time. . NAD was inaugurated by Shri Pranab Mukherjee, Hon'ble President of India, at the National Convention on Digital Initiatives for Higher Education on 9th July, 2017 at New Delhi. (www.nad.gov.co.in)

National Academic Depository is National level depository of academic awards including Mark Statements, Degree and provisional certificates. Under the command of MHRD, UGC, New Delhi is taking lead in promoting digitalization of academic awards and lodging the same with NAD.
